We are currently looking for a Master Data Associate Manager to support the business in achieving its strategic objectives.

As a Master Data Associate Manager, you will take responsibility, from the business perspective, for the definition and on-going management of service master data that is being used in company’s applications, used for quoting, invoicing, contract management and service delivery. We will expect you to provide standardised, high quality vendor master data in order to support operations, processes and reporting initiatives. Being the business owner of master data in your area of responsibility, you will be responsible for ensuring that group, regions or countries use the same master data, consistently, in accordance with applicable global, regional or local policies. You will develop, agree and formalise the data strategy and monitor data governance and quality.

What is expect of you to do:

  • Establish and improve policies, processes and procedures with regards to master data management.

  • Perform data analysis to drive data quality, manage the data lifecycle and manage change control.

  • Promote data standardisation and implement system alignment initiatives across the group, region or country.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build data management applications and supporting systems.

Here's what we are looking for in candidates for this job:

  • Degree in Business, Knowledge Management or Information Technology

  • ITIL Certification.

  • At least 5 – 8 years’ work experience.

  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position within a large scale (preferably multi-national) technology services environment.

  • Possess sound knowledge of Dimension Data’s operating methods and services.

  • Display knowledge of company’s Business Unit structure, or working knowledge of data management relating to Top 30 Vendors.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the field of business, data and systems management.

  • Demonstrate an understanding of generic technology systems concepts.

  • Display excellent technical and business documentation writing skills.

  • Demonstrate well-developed analytical skills.

  • Display excellent communication, writing and presentation skills.

  • Possess good listening skills Demonstrate good level of attention to detail.

  • Display resilience and tenacity.

  • Be a proactive self-starter capable of establishing priorities.
